Where to Watch the Big Game

Traveling during the Super Bowl? Don’t worry, because Kansas City is a renowned pro-sports mecca and there are plenty of spots to watch the game! The Blue Line Sports Bar is a hockey-themed hot spot, but it’s all about football this time of year. Enjoy great pub grub, a raucous crowd, and late night hours (‘til 3am!) so you can either celebrate or lick your wounds into the wee hours.

Dirk’s Bar and Grill has huge TVs and live music on the weekends. Open until 1:30am, it’s a local hangout where you can meet fellow fans and indulge in some of that famous Kansas City barbeque. At Quaff Bar and Grill, you can stay ‘til 3am and take advantage of the big screens, eclectic entertainment, and some of the best bar games in town.

Tomfooleries Restaurant and Bar is in the heart of downtown, where the brick walls and trendy bartenders create an atmosphere perfect for any football fan. Ugly Joe’s is another option, where burgers and video games are the perfect accessory to the Super Bowl.

Head over to 54th Street Grill & Bar for some kitschy designs, or the Brass Rail Sports Bar and discover one of the biggest bars in town. There’s also a sure bet: Stay in, kick back on your pillow top mattress, and catch the game from your guest room!
