Visit the Crown Center
Crown Center is where some of the biggest attractions and events take place in KCMO. It’s where you’ll find SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium, the LEGOLAND Discovery Center and the free Hallmark Visitors Center. Kaleidoscope is the family-friendly destination where you can make stunning art, a wonderful keepsake from your trip. At Coterie Theater and the Musical Theater Heritage, American musicals kick off in an intimate setting, so you’re in the thick of the action.
In the winter, Crown Center is home to Kansas City’s only indoor ice skating rink that’s open to the public. Visit Union Station, the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial, and don’t forget to swing by the Money Museum, located in the Federal Reserve Bank. It can take days to see everything going on at this adventure mecca.

In August, catch “Madagascar: A Musical Adventure” until August 7 or “Next to Normal” throughout the month. WeekEnder County Road 5 and the Up movie takes place August 5 at 6 p.m. with the free movie starting at 9 p.m. Favorite food trucks and live music before Up begins ensure a great time will be had by all.
Every Monday and Tuesday, the MTH Musical begins at 7 p.m. featuring cabaret style performers putting on a fantastic show. Where will your first Crown Center stop be?
