Top 5 Summer Events to Attend with Kids

One of the biggest challenges when planning a trip, is finding fun activities that both the grown-ups and the kids will enjoy. #1 Festa Italiana (June 1st – June 3rd)

#2 Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies (June 3rd)

Music enthusiasts will love this Kansas City entertainment concert event. With a one of the most beloved musical scores and songs of all time, the music from esteemed Disney films like Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast will warm the hearts of kids of all ages.  Put on by the Kansas City Symphony, you can expect beautiful music, talented singers, and video imagery to make this concert especially magical. #3 Riverfest (July 4th)

#5 Animation & Imagination Art Show (June 1st – July 27th)

Spark your children’s creativity with this free art show at Buttonwood Art Space.This show was organized to pay tribute to Walt Disney and his roots in the Kansas City area and to preserve Disney’s first art studio. Local artists have come together to bring you incredible works of art which showcase line art, cartoons, and vibrant, colorful masterpieces created in the artist’s imagination.
