St. Patrick’s Day Fun in Kansas City

2018 Update

St. Patrick's DaySt. Patrick’s Day is a holiday that is filled with fun and leaves everyone looking forward to the next year. Fortunately, it is a once a year celebration as many of us can only handle so much fun.

Start your day off with an Irish breakfast at Browne’s Irish Marketplace. The Traditional Irish Breakfast starts at 7 am. Enjoy breakfast indoors or outdoors under a large heated tent with Irish Coffee, a strolling magician, Irish trivia and much, much more.

After you have satisfied your hunger cravings, grab your bagpipes and kilt, throw on some green and join us for the 42nd Annual Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade. With spring break in full swing, the party starts Monday, March 17th at 11am. This parade has become Kansas City’s largest single-day event. With tens of thousands of spectators expected to line the streets, be sure to get there early to reserve your spot. The parade has hundreds of floats and lasts until 1:00 pm and starts on Broadway at Linwood/33rd Blvd continuing down to 43rd Street. Check out the official website for more details and information.

Of course St. Patrick’s Day is not complete without an Irish brew. Head over to Kelly’s Westport Inn for an authentic Irish feel and some green beer. Voted one of the top Irish Pubs in Kansas City, you are sure to find a celebration all weekend long with locals and fellow Irishmen alike.
