Kansas City is a hot destination for spring breakers, so if you happen to be in town for business or leisure, you’re in luck! There are countless options for families, singles and couples. The Spring Break Blast at Union Station has two new events at Science City: feature films and science demos daily. There are also 30 brand new exhibits waiting for you and your child to discover.

The Safari Day Camp: Spring break at the zoo is from March 16-22. This fast-paced day camp frees up parents’ day and lets kids get interactive with their wild neighbors. KC Art Institute is also offering spring break camps where fine art skills are learned and honed, and imagination is encouraged to run wild.

For the Big Kids on Break

The Worlds of Fun Theme Park is fun for all ages and a great way to get into the swing of warmer months. There are also the Oceans of Fun Waterpark and Schlitterbahn Waterpark Kansas City, if cooling off sounds more your speed.

In March, The Central Library is featuring Frozen in Time: Images of Wounded Knee and Pine Ridge, and you can also find The Jazz, Kansas City Style Photography Exhibit at the Mid-Continent Public Library. Boulevard Brewery tours are always a good choice, or head to the iPad Scavenger Hunt via Quest for the Lost Vault at the Money Museum.
