The magnificent shopping, dining and entertainment destination is not only the first shopping mall in the country, but is filled with unique finds and hidden gems.
Hall’s Department store anchors the Plaza at 211 Nichols Road. The locally owned retailer houses everything from high end designer duds to furniture, jewelry, and handbags..and everything in between.
Hemline, N. Valentino and Standard Style are all locally owned boutiques with amazing fashion finds you won’t find anywhere else in the Midwest. Standard is
also the to-go spot for fashion forward finds and cool gifts and is even home to Baldwin Denim, their famed jeans line.
If you are looking for great finds for children—ZOOM! is an amazing specialty toy store filled to the brim with fun finds and unique toys for the little people in your life. Three Dog Bakery also calls Kansas City home, and their bakery is not to be missed if you have a furry friend in your life. The Kansas City Store is great for souvenirs and has everything from Chiefs attire, specialty BBQ and all things Kansas City.
While Kate Spade (who just happens to be a KC native) and H&M (which just opened this fall) are not unique to Kansas City, they are the only ones in the KC Metro and fun to both browse or buy!
