Middle of the Map Fest
The Kansas City music scene got that much cooler when INK Magazine brought us their Middle of the Map Festival in 2011. The festival, which features over 100 emerging bands from Kansas City and beyond, will be held April 5th, 6th and 7th in venues located in and around Westport and Midtown.
Tickets are available at Middle of the Map Festival .com and are $20 for a one day pass and $35 for both days.
The Middle of the Map Festival will also host a Tech, Art and Culture Forum in 2012 at Office Port KC. The forum will feature speakers and a panel featuring a wide variety of Kansas City’s movers and shakers, as well as screenings of a series of short films at the Screenland. Also included are a variety of visual art installations and much more. Forum tickets start at $50 and for $75, include the music festival pass.
