Holiday Shopping Adventure for Kids
Skip the chaos of taking the kids to the mall for holiday shopping and let them do their shopping on their own. That’s right, the kids can do their own Christmas shopping this year. C.W. Parker Carousel Museum is hosting their 10th Annual Holiday Shopping Adventure for kids giving kids the freedom to shop for their Christmas gifts without the assistance from their parents.
Children ages 3 to 13 can join in this holiday fun this Sunday, December 7th at 10:00am. This fun secure environment spreads Christmas cheer to all the little ones as they enjoy browsing gifts for their loved ones. Parents simply pay $3, $5 or $7 for each person on the child’s gift list. Elves guide each child as they shop. Once gift selections are made the gifts are wrapped and labeled keeping you, the parents, guessing about your gift.
Kids also get to enjoy a ride on the 1913 carousel, a bag of reindeer food and admission to the Kid’s Craft Corner. Parents can enjoy complimentary hot cocoa while browsing through the crafts, gifts and baked good available for purchase while kids are shopping. Head over to www.firstcitymuseums.org for more information. Don’t let your kids miss out on this holiday fun.
