There are always exciting new temporary exhibits, but permanent displays like the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium with daily shows is always guaranteed to get your geek-driven visit started right. With the best views of the KCMO night sky, it’s also the perfect option for a date.
In the Demo Area, there are different activities, workshops and wow-factor happenings throughout the day. The Dino Lab and Dig Site is where you can uncover fossils while learning about paleontology. At Every Last Drop or Force & Motion, little ones can learn more about the world we share in a thrilling atmosphere that’s always fully immersive.

Head to the Genetics: Unlock the Code area to discover your heritage, background and what makes you who you are. Battle your friends and family at the Giant Lever, the biggest game of tug of war you’ve ever tackled.
The KC Rail Experience is a one of a kind adventure showcasing the history of the U.S. rail system with a special emphasis on local trains. Kinder Lab is just for the littlest scientists and it is where building, pretending and playing, exploring and reading are king. From the Maker Studio to the massive maze and test kitchen, you’ll need at least a couple of days to really discover everything Science City has to offer.
