Gobble Up Thanksgiving Feasts in KCMO

KCMO is a foodie paradise any time of year, but it really shines when it comes to Thanksgiving feasts. Try Lidia’s downtown for a four-course classic spread for under $50 for adults and options from noon – 6 p.m. There’s also Affäre nearby with their famous Thanksgiving brunch served from 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., so you can get your turkey on in the morning and be ready to gobble again come dinner time.

Providence New American Kitchen is dishing up a three-course menu until 8 p.m. with all your favorites. Prices are under $25 for adults, and doors open early so you can start your feast as early or late as you like. Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is open until 9:30 p.m. with a slow-roasted Amish turkey, pan gravy, homemade potatoes, spiced pumpkin pie cheesecake and more for under $30 per adult.

Bring Some Home

Your KCMO guest room is more than big enough to host an intimate Thanksgiving meal for two. Many local restaurants are offering to-go feasts including Stroud’s in Overland Park. Get a whole stuffed turkey, cinnamon rolls, potatoes, green beans and stuffing to enjoy in the comforts of your home away from home.

Call the Broadway Butcher Shop, and customize the size of your bird, including brining if preferred, along with gourmet sides like foie gras, braised green beans with pork cheeks and brioche bread pudding. You’ll feel right at home for the holidays with these luxury choices.
