Go Ape! Zipline and Treetop Adventure
Get a real bird’s eye view of KCMO at Go Ape. Zip from tree to tree at this adventure park located at 7331 Oakwood Dr. Ziplining is safe for nearly all ages and abilities, but at Go Ape you get so much more than a zip canopy tour. With five obstacle sections, each one taking you higher, you’ll get 39 crossings in Swope Park. From the Plank Crossing to the two Tarzan Swings, there are more ways to “hang out” than ziplining alone.

Try out the Yamazoe Steps, and don’t forget to have your camera firmly attached to you for some incredible views. A variety of packages are available, but most guests opt for between two and three hours of adrenaline-packed fun.

Prices start at $58 for adults and all packages include full access to the park’s destinations. As you navigate the obstacle course, your sense of accomplishment grows. All visitors are kitted out in safety gear after a 30-minute briefing. You’ll learn course etiquette and how to use the equipment. Next up? An independent adventure that you tackle at your own pace as you explore the forest.
