Family Fun for All Travelers

In Kansas City there are plenty of family-friendly adventures to be had, starting with Extreme Grand Prix Indoor Family Fun Center or Aaron’s Family Fun Center! If you’re traveling with the brood, make time to stop by one of these fun centers for arcade games, go-cart racing, the batting cages, and more. The Cool Crest Family Fun Center is another option, full of games, treats, and adrenaline-packed action for all ages.

Kaleidoscope is an interactive art center, compliments of Hallmark. It’s in the Crown Center, so post-playing shopping is a must. The Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center is another top pick, where petting zoos, pole fishing and exploring the trails are all on the itinerary. At Worlds of Fun there are over 20 rides, endless shows, and meet and greets with wee ones’ favorite characters.

All Play, No Work

You should check out The Maze Craze for laser tag or to lose yourself in the endless mirror labyrinth. Of course, there’s Great Wolf Lodge and CoCo Key Water Resort if you prefer your theme parks with plenty of water rides (year-round!). Mission Bowl is one of the most popular bowling centers around, featuring laser nights on a regular basis.

Teens and tweens love Jaegers Subsurface Paintball, or take in a pro home game at one of the local stadiums. Fun for the whole family? That’s easy in KCMO!
