Fabulous Kansas City Steaks

Whether you prefer a massive porterhouse cut or are loyal to KCMO style BBQ, you can’t really “steak” your claim until you’ve tried the city’s best steakhouses. Start at Logan’s Roadhouse where they feature a special ribs menu with the famed baby backs slow cooked for eight hours or the whole slow roasted platter so you can sample it all. Wood grilled steaks promise USDA choice sirloins, paired with lobster tail if you’re a surf and turf aficionado.

Em Chamas Brazilian Grill is a favorite for diners who want VIP service that never stops. The full cocktail menu perfectly complements what the gauchos are carving up, including the top sirloin stuffed with provolone cheese, bottomless sirloin and boneless beef ribs. Try the beef medallion rubbed in garlic or filet mignon wrapped in bacon in between trips to the sides bar.

Steaks Worth Drooling Over

The aptly named Majestic Restaurant dishes up brunch, dinner, happy hour and dessert menus with USDA aged hangar steaks, the steak Fitzpatrick, bacon wrapped tenderloins with garlic, and the option to add on lobster tail or scallops with any cut. Side options include baked or mashed potatoes, broccoli with garlic butter and four-cheese mac and cheese.

At the Plaza III, dinner comes with a side of live jazz and the tenderloin Oscar or Kansas City strip steak is what gets many hooked.
