Coming Up: K.C. Taste
This Saturday is one of the hottest food and music festivals in Kansas City!
K.C. Taste features over 30 restaurants offering tastes of their signature dishes so you can see just how amazing the culinary scene is in town. If you’re a picky eater, get the general admission ticket, which will allow you to sample from ten restaurants, but the adventurous should absolutely get the VIP – allowing you to eat from all 30.
In between bites, watch cooking demonstrations from locally famous chefs so that you can replicate their dishes or experiment on your own with new techniques and ideas. If that’s not your idea of fun, enjoy the live show by Cherry Bomb instead and dance to work off some of those calories!
When you get thirsty, enjoy a beer from a local brewery or wine from the nearby vineyards – multiple vendors will be available for you to choose from, and you’ll certainly have a plethora of choices – ale, lager, cabernet, chardonnay – it will all be there!
Curious about what you’ll get to try? Cupcakes Unlimited will be there (their Chocolate Explosion is the most decadent thing you can put in your mouth), as will Parkway Social Kitchen (their rainbow trout comes with a tarragon butter that really elevates the dish), and Jack Stack BBQ (you have to try barbecue in Kansas City and Jack Stack’s barbecue stuffed potato is too good to miss), to name a few.
