Boulevard Tapped Tour
Known for breweries, no trip to KCMO is complete without a “tapped tour.” Recurring every Sunday through July 30th, the brew-fueled tour stretches from 1 – 5 p.m. and kicks off at Country Club Plaza Area. Hop on board the Barley Bus, and get an insider’s peek into the craft beer scene. You’ll be able to swiftly visit a number of breweries, get treated to samples, and learn about the brewing industry.
See what a day in the life of a brewmaster is like, and talk to insiders who have helped craft KCMO’s brew scene. Focusing on the brewing process, tour guides will take you from the biggest breweries in the city to the smaller boutique breweries who are stealing the scene.
What’s Brewing?
While the brewery tours are by far the most popular, Boulevard Tours also offers wine tours and distillery tours. The Uncorked Tour provides a sampling of all (beer, wine and spirits), or you can go with the Wildcard Run which mixes up samplings but keeps exact stops a surprise.
The Wine Country tour lets you go direct “from grape to glass,” whisking you from urban wineries to the outskirts of town for a full, diverse tasting. Book your tour here, and see why the locals are so enamored with their poison.
