If you are antique shopping, Kansas City will fit the bill. Offering a number of antique malls and hidden gems anyone looking for a fantastic find and old forgotten treasures should look no further.

One of the best spots in Kansas City is 45th & State Line Road. Considered Kansas City’s antique district, this collection of shops has all that you can imagine. Packed full of interesting finds, this little piece of antique heaven is a dream come true for scavengers.

Webster House, located in the Crossroads District, boasts of 18th and 19th century European antiques. Formerly a schoolhouse in the late 1800’s, the beautifully renovated building is full of unusual, rare and decorative pieces.

Mission Road Antique Mall brings hundreds of antique dealers all under one roof. Approximately 50,000 square feet of space is covered in fun finds, fantastic bargains and amazing treasures. Located in Prairie Village, it is 514 miles from Churchill Downs but this hot spot used to be was the former stables of the 1938 Kentucky Derby winner. If nothing else, you get to see a piece of history as you browse through all of the goods.

Last but not least on our list of antique shopping hot spots is River Market Antiques. The holy mecca for antiquers, this four-story  building is crammed full of heirlooms, artifacts, antiques, gifts and more. From sterling silver pieces to rare art you will be overwhelmed with the amount of things that can fit in one place. Located Kansas City’s historic River Market District  it is one more reason Kansas City is a dream for those antique shopping.
