Head downtown to Coki Bijoux Fine Jewelry, located at 115 W. 18th Street #105 in KCMO, for their first Friday event from 5 – 9 p.m. The shop is open late so you can experience first-hand what traditional French hospitality is like. Coki is available, along with her talented team, to welcome you to the boutique to peruse, browse, ask questions and enjoy refreshments.
If you’re shopping for gifts or looking for something special for yourself, the jewelry line is completely handmade by the local artist. Cokie is a KCMO native, but spent most of the 1990s in Paris as a metalsmithing apprentice. When she returned to her hometown, she brought plenty of French style with her craft. The shop has been a landmark at the KC Crossroads Art District ever since.

She describes her aesthetic as part glam, part bohemian and eclectic. You’ll find pieces suitable for everyday or for gala events. Coki is also available to create customized pieces, and she’s happy to “talk shop” on First Friday. Many brides and grooms go to Coki to create unforgettable wedding day pieces and heirlooms.
In addition to First Friday, there are special events held monthly to introduce the latest collections to shoppers.
