The Original River Market Food Tour

The tour kicks off every Sunday from May through September 19 from 11-2 at the downtown Kansas City Walking Tours offices located at 200 Main Street. The culinary adventure whisks you to River Market where you can tour and taste the world in just a few blocks! Visit up to six local restaurants where you can sample local flavors and hear about the evolution of culinary arts in KCMO.
There are so many tastings, it’s the equivalent of a heavy lunch, so come hungry! Some of the most charming, historical streets in the city are explored, and you’ll be treated to some off-the-grid eateries that only locals know about. Hear about the famous gambling halls and some of the shadier characters from the Wild West days.
